Willie Nelson is sharing a track from his upcoming album. He debuted "The Wall" Tuesday in a website video.
Willie tells Rolling Stone he'd been touring and had grown weary of the road when he wrote "The Wall," and "it turns out it's a pretty good song."
In the song he acknowledges his life and career path, and some of the transgressions he made along the way.
The clip is in the style of a lyric video. But instead of the song's words, viewers see a Nelson timeline featuring career accomplishments and milestones, starting in 1940 when he wrote his first song.
"The Wall" is one of nine tracks Willie wrote for his new album, Band of Brothers, which will be released on June 17th.
